This Privacy Policy explains how Day Three ("Day Three", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Day Three mobile application, website, support channels, and related services (together, the "Services").

To display widgets on your iOS home screen or lock screen, Day Three writes certain data — such as the Verse of the Day, Daily Word, reading progress, and discipline status — to a shared iOS App Group storage area on your device. This data is shared only between the Day Three app and the Day Three widget extension and does not leave your device.

Day Three may request camera or photo access for features such as scanning Scripture or choosing a profile image. Images are processed only when you choose to use those features. Scripture scan images are sent to our backend and AI service providers so we can recognize text and generate an explanation.
If you purchase Day Three Premium, Apple and RevenueCat process subscription information. We may receive and store subscription status, product identifier, expiration date, renewal status, and related purchase metadata. We do not receive your full payment card number.

Day Three uses third-party AI service providers, currently including Google Gemini, to generate Scripture explanations and responses. When you submit User Content to an AI feature, that content may be transmitted to our backend and to the AI provider solely to generate the requested output, provide safety filtering, and maintain the feature.
AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. Day Three is a devotional and study tool, not a substitute for Scripture, pastoral counsel, medical advice, mental health care, legal advice, or other professional guidance.

We do not sell your personal information.
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Local data remains on your device until you delete it, remove the app, or use account deletion features. Server-side account data may be deleted through Profile > Delete Account or by contacting support.
Some information may be retained for a limited period in backups, logs, fraud prevention records, financial records, or legal compliance systems.

For residents of California and other U.S. states with privacy laws, Day Three may process categories such as identifiers, commercial information, internet or network activity, user content, and inferences related to app preferences. We use this information for app functionality, analytics, security, subscription management, and support.
We do not sell personal information and do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Day Three is not directed to children under 13. Users under 18 should use Day Three only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can delete it.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. These countries may have different data protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice in the app or through another appropriate method. The updated date at the top shows when the policy was last revised.
